Location is good only if you are in Barcelona for a congress, there is a conference center nearby.Otherwise you are far from the sights , a metro station is very near though , so you can be in the centre of Barcelona in 30 minutes. Staying in this hotel is quite good, reception is helpful, same the staff in the restaurant. Breakfast was average, infact croissants were uneatable, tasted very bad.In general pleasant experience except the food.

Facilities sufficient for business trips. A little far from the city centre but with beach trail that is great for running. Large mall across the road with everything you need. Nice poolside bar with nice view,sunset. Would have been rated higher for business stays if the service was better. Hotel staff was cold and not helpful.did not feel the warmth of usual Barca and marriot bonvoy this stay. Probably because of the stressful mobile world conference period.definitely not my best marriot Bonvoy experience

Great location if you are attending a conference at the Barcelona convention center. The hotel is literally right there - you go out the hotel main door, up some steps and into the convention center. However, if you are in Barcelona for vacation, it's not really close to any of the tourist sites. There are some restaurants in a shopping mall across the street but not much else in the vicinity. The hotel itself is nice, with decent size rooms by Europe standards and nice bathrooms. I was upgraded to a room that looked out on the water which was nice, although do not expect a resort type of view - there is no beach and it's pretty industrial along the ocean in this part of the city. My room overlooked the rooftop of the convention center with the water in the distance. I did not eat at the hotel restaurant at all, so can't give first hand experience. My colleague did have breakfast several mornings and said it was good, and if you buy it as a package with the room, it's not unreasonable for a breakfast buffet - $16.50 per person. However, to get that price, everyone in the room must take it for all the days on the reservation - otherwise it's $22. I did get a glass of wine in the bar two different times and the Spanish red they had was good and the atmosphere was nice. The staff at this hotel are professional and supportive. The entire front desk crew greeted you as you walked in and seemed very attentive even though the hotel was pretty full due to the multlple business events held in the vicinity.I had an especially good experience with Angeline, who was really so helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I was attending another event/meeting at the convention center. It was a very good experience.

Very very poor experience. Checked in and got the room keys to a room we entered where someone else is staying. Such an embarrassment! Very basic business hotel and would never stay here again! Basic hotel for B&b..

We booked an apartment for three nights for three of us, me, my wife and 14-year old son. They gave us the best-view sea-facing apartment, so that we can watch sunrise from the room window. The parking was spacious, and getting to the city at non-peak hours was easy. The reception stuff provided good tips about the city, and the area nearby is nice, clean and right on the Mediterranean.
